Barn Farm Drinks rebrand

Having rebranded their Pressé range of drinks, Barn Farm Drinks asked me to redesign their core range of drinks, to bring the image up-to-date and appeal to a more contemporary audience.

Barn Farm Drinks are third generation family farmers, passionate about growing berries, which they then press and bottle into high quality juice – all on the farm.

Bursting with flavour, their drinks have been winning awards for taste each year and sell well locally, but the label design was holding the products back from success in hip cities such as London and Brighton.

The new designs feature vibrant water-colour illustrations of the fruit, with the ‘hero’ ingredient in the forefront. This not only looks fresh but also distinguishes each flavour more effectively than the old labels, where the logo dominated all other elements. The loose style and watercolour splashes represent a fresh authenticity, which is also reflected in the freestyle, hand-written fonts and paint-brush colour swooshes. The full-bleed composition reflects a product that is bursting with flavour; yet there is plenty of white space to contrast against the colourful bottled juice and give the design a contemporary feel.
